Our Equipment
When going on Investigations, we at White Light need to use certain pieces of equipment which help us to pinpoint
where Spirit activity is taking place. Our equipment also helps us to record any paranormal activity that may occur.
Nightvision Cameras
Essential equipment if you want to record evidence of Paranormal activity. Sometimes it is only when you look
back on the footage of the evening that you may have caught disembodied voices, mists, or light anomalies. It is
very time consuming viewing the footage, but really worth it when you do catch something.
We also use extra infrared on our cameras as this lets you see further in the dark in addition with the nightvision mode on the camcorder. We will also set up static nightvision cameras in "hotspots" in the hope of capturing
activity.
Digital cameras
We use digital cameras frequently to take shots of hotspots or where we think that activity may be occurring.
This is when we sometimes capture "orbs"- please see our orbs and evp page. You can also capture mists and
shadows. I think digital cameras are really useful in capturing Spirit activity on camera and are an essential
piece of investigation equipment.
Laser thermometers
These are used to initially get a base reading of different rooms/areas in any place we are investigating. Laser
thermometers are highly accurate and are laser pinpointed. We can record a temperature on our baseline test,then should there be any fluctuations, you will know what the original reading was, which could mean Spirit presence.
Temperature drop (or increase) is a classic indication that Spirit may be present. We have used this tool to directly communicate with Spirit by asking it to fluctuate the temperature - which has happened often.
EMF Meters
This piece of equipment is an Electro Magnetic Field detector. EMF can be ommitted from TV's, electrical equipment,
and electrical wires etc. It is also said that when a Spirit is present , it can change the EMF -- we have had very
strange EMF readings, sometimes moving, where there were no obvious reasons for it. We also use this device to
communicate directly with Spirit -- asking questions and getting "answers" through high or erratic EMF readings.
Digital Voice recorders
Digital voice recorders (dvr's) are used to record voices or sounds that can or can't be heard at the time of
recording. We will use these devices to ask questions and hopefully record "spirit" voices or any other noise that
may be evident after recording. We have recorded disembodied groans, and Monastic chanting -- a very useful,
productive piece of equipment.
Franks box
Our newest piece of equipment is the Franks box. This is an am/fm radio that has been customised so it
runs through channels very fast. This creates "white noise" within which Spirit may be able to communicate.
We have had extremely good results using this, and have done controlled experiments which are very productive.

Wireless CCTV cameras and monitor
We will set up the wireless cctv cameras and link them to our tv monitor set up in another room. Using a processor, we can view the cameras on the split screen -- these can then be monitored for any activity that may occur.
Livestream TV
We have our White Light TV channel. We set up a laptop and connect a nightvision camera. We can then broadcast
our investigations live. With this, we can also chat to viewers who may have seen something or would like to
ask any questions.
Ouija Board
Quite a controversial tool we use frequently on our investigations. We use the ouija to get as much information about
any Spirit that may be present. Sometimes, we get Spirit that are not welcome who come through. I believe the
ouija to be a very dangerous tool if not treated correctly. In my past, I used it when I was younger (and less informed) without shutting it down properly - which led to unwanted Spirit "hanging around"me.
The White Light Team are trained in knowing how to use this tool with respect and we would NEVER recommend using this without someone who knows how to shut it down properly.
Dowsing Rods
Dowsing rods, or divining rods can detect the presence of water and electricity. They can also detect the presence of Spirit too. They are a fairly new tool for us, and we are just getting used to them.

Trigger objects
We set up trigger objects such as marbles, books, postcards, and playing cards.
Depending on where we are investigating, we will set up various objects and then record their positions. Through
the evening, we will return to see if they may have moved. We will also set up a static nightvision camera to record any movement that may occur with trigger objects.
We use a plastic childs ball, and a tennis ball in experiments should we feel a playful Spirit or a child.
We will roll the ball and ask the "Spirit" to roll it back or throw it back. We have had very good results doing this -

Torches
Where would we be without torches! They are a necessity. The sort of torches we use have three settings. one for
bright torchlight, the second for using without affecting our nightvision, is ultra violet. The third is a laser
for pinpointing.
Our Senses and Intuition
To me this is one of the most important "tools" we use. Four of the White Light Team are Spirit Sensitives, and
have used our sensitivity to Spirit constructively for many years. We will get information that has been left
residually, and we can sense certain facts about the people, or events that have taken place in the venue we are investigating.
