Tom Thumb Theatre Cliftonville
The Tom Thumb Theatre, Margate, Kent. 12th March 2010
Weather outside -- cool and dry.
Team members present:
Claire, Emma, Lynze, Mel, Ian, Jacquie, David and Adam.
Equipment used:
Camcorders, digital cameras, EMF meters, Laser Thermometers,
Franks box, walkie talkies. Digital voice recorders.
White Light TV -- live broadcast.
The Tom Theatre is one of the Country's smallest Theatres. It was converted from stables and has
been used as a Theare since the 1980's. Lesley, the previous owner died in 2006. The theatre was
then rescued by the current Owners who are lovingly restoring it.
On arriving at this lovely Theatre, we did our baseline readings with the EMF meter, and a laser
thermometer. We used our equipment throughout the Theatre but it was the backroom/office
which was giving out extremely high readings on the EMF. These were coming from objects
such as a chair and mirror which is quite strange as these have no electric running through them.
Myself, Emma, Lynze, Mel and Jacquie felt so strongly about the presence in the backroom
that we turned off the lights and held a vigil. I felt the presence of a Man who was blowing
in my ear -- he was standing in between myself and Mel and we both asked him to step back.
We heard tapping on the floor and walls, and in the mirror reflection it looked like there was one
head more than people in the room.
We decided to place our static camera in the backroom, and used the main room to set up
the ouija board, and set up the livestream TV.
We decided to start the session with a ouija board in the main theatre area. We started with
our usual Spiritual protection, and led onto a ouija board session. Well this session didnt even
start! This happens sometimes that the glass just doesnt move (you cant click your fingers and
expect Spirit to do as you want!)
It just didnt seem that there was any activity in the main area at all, so we then moved the board
and letters into the back room, with the help of Tom who was brilliant all night!
As soon as we went back into the office/backroom, the energy levels were really high.
We started off our session, with all of us in the room, but ended up asking all the Men to
leave as it seemed that there was a Spirit who was just interested in Women. As soon as
the guys left, the energy started to build and build. During this, we got a Male called John,
and a Female come through.
After quite an active ouija board session, we joined the boys back in the main theatre.
Again we returned to the back room where we conducted another ouija board session. During this
time, David recorded some video footage, which shows what looks like a skull/face in the doorway.
Adam was in the doorway, but it seemed to be in front of him.
We then asked the men to leave again. This is when we started singing old songs -- to which made
the glass whiz around the board. It seemed that the Spirit who we believe to be Lesley the
previous owner, loved our singing and I feel she was laughing at us (as were the viewers on the livestream
feed!!!)
It had been quite a long energetic evening, so we decided to finish up.
We absolutely loved investigating the Tom Thumb Theatre and hope we can go back again soon. I feel
there is unfinished business so to speak, and we look forward to our return.
