Westgate Pavilion Public Investigation
The Westgate Pavilion public Investigation 31st October 2009 (Halloween)
Our second and public investigation was a very busy evening!
We had ten guest investigators for the evening from all walks of life, and also two people who were on the Halloween
Ghosthunt for charity.
As well as the ten guests for the evening, we were one shy of the full Team for the evening.
On arrival, the White Light Team set up trigger objects being marbles on the stage, a ball on the stairs, a pack of playing cards in the foyer and we set the static camera in the hall between the ladies and gents toilets.
On arrival, our guests for the evening were briefed on the plan for the evening ahead, and on how to use the
equipment - EMF, laser thermometors, and digital voice recorders.
After our Spiritual protection for the whole group, we split into two groups - one with 5 guests, Emma and Melanie, and the other group with 5 guests, myself (Claire), and Ian. We had one walkie talkie per group to keep in touch.
One group headed to the Ladies toilets for a vigil, while our group started a ouija board on the dancefloor. We initially
didnt have much joy with the board on the dancefloor and moved to the stage area where things started to happen.
What seemed to be the spirit of Sophie from a previous investigation came through and was interested in one of our guest investigators - Chris. I asked Chris to talk to Sophie, which seemed to encourage more activity on the board.
The other group could hear groans coming from the Ladies toilets. The Mens toilet was very atmospheric, and one of our guests (Sam) decided to be alone in the toilets. During this time, he sensed a male presence that seemed to be
quite tormented.
We decided to swap the groups around and the other group went to the stage area to the ouija board. Our group went
into the Ladies toilets and also Sam in the Mens toilets still.
The group on the stage had connected with two Spirit girls and the board was very energetic. After a while, in the toilets, I asked spirit to affect Sam in the mens toilets. You can see from the footage that it was instant.
After a short while I suggested we have a break as things were getting quite emotional on the stage with the board.
On our return from our break, Sam and Ben decided to spend more time in the Mens toilets as it was very atmospheric.
On this next piece of footage, they ask if spirit was there to slam a door - to that, one of the doors in the ladies toilets can clearly be heard slamming.
Our group assembled in the foyer where we asked out for any spirit present to make a noise. To our surprise, it sounded like the intercom went off. On asking again, we got a bang on the ceiling, and then the intercom went off again. We were told that this intercom had in fact not worked for years and had never gone off like that before. We decided to bring the two groups together and I suggested that the two guest investigators that had the connection with the spirit girls, should use the ball to communicate. Please see the following footage.
We decided to bring the investigation to a close after this point. We all took part in the closing session, and thanked
the spirit for communicating with us. We made sure that everyone was ok and everyone said they had thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
The Westgate Pavilion never fails to deliver activity and this Halloween was extremely paranormally active.
